Built so the end of a tenancy is boring, in the best way.
Fettlr exists because a check-out shouldn't come down to whoever argues longest.
Why we built it
A letting agency produces a careful, numbered document at check-in and gets back a camera roll at check-out. Almost every dispute we looked at failed for the same reason: not because the deduction was wrong, but because nothing tied the evidence to the claim.
Fettlr is the fix we wanted to exist: the same structure at both ends of a tenancy, built from the document an agency already produces.
A few working principles.
Evidence has no side
The record is the record, whoever it favours. That's what makes it worth trusting.
Offer it, never require it
A tenant should never be told that declining leaves them worse off, because it doesn't.
Direct access, not a ticket queue
We're small enough that a question about the product reaches the person who builds it.
Built with agencies, not just for them
Fettlr is early, and the people who run tenancies every day know things we don't.
Tell us what's wrong with it.
Twenty minutes of honest feedback from someone who runs tenancies is worth more to us than a sale.
